TokenMe is a business venture of Sostark BV, aiming to provide advanced technology solutions to construction companies. The primary objective of TokenMe is to enable construction companies to effectively assess the situation within construction areas through the utilization of tokens and anchors. Tokens are carried by workers and utilize UWB (also have Bluetooth capability) to transmit real-time data regarding their location, movement, and the latest time. Simultaneously, anchors receive this broadcasted information and also monitor various environmental factors such as temperature, humidity, air pressure, air quality, fire, gas, sound, light, movement, and vibration. To facilitate this process, anchors employ radio access technologies such as UWB, BLE, WIFI-Mesh, and LoRaWAN. The anchors then transmit both the received token information and the sensor data via LoRaWAN to a local database and/or the Cloud. Furthermore, cloud-based dashboards are available to visualize the received data using graphs, lists, and heat maps.
In order to explore the possibilities of integrating private 5G networks into the "TokenMe" business model, Sostark BV aims to conduct a fieldlab project. This project will initially assess the feasibility of implementing 5G technology and subsequently proceed with a pilot project. The ultimate goal is to replace the current usage of LoRaWAN with 5G technology for data transmission to the cloud.
